Tacitsolution is run by former Army psychologist and researcher Capt Niclas Wisén. He has served with the Swedish Armed Forces since 2008 with focus on our international military engagements such as peacekeeping missions or UN- observers. He has been supporting troops on site in Afghanistan, Djibouti, Pakistan and been deployed himself to Mali in 2017.

 

Niclas has also been a human factor HF subject matter expert in several incident investigations in the military both national and on site in Afghanistan. He has also taught HF at the incident investigations course at the military academy Karlberg.

 

He has experience from international collaboration both from research and from support to projects in the military psychology sector. He was a longtime part in a project developing psychological support within the armed forces of Bosnia et Herzegovina.

 

At the time Niclas is in the last phase of a PhD in military psychology at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm. Focus of the thesis is related to the impact of stress in both operative and training settings. The research cover areas measured with many methods such as stress hormones, Digital Cognitive tests and physiological assessment using worn sensors. Aside from physiological data also been collected using traditional clinical tools.  

 

Aside from his military experience Niclas has been a clinical psychologist working in areas such as forensic psychology, antisocial youth and parent management groups aimed at parents (and schools) with outacting kids.
